We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2024 UN Day Global Leadership Awards. The UN Day Global Leadership Awards recognize the lasting achievements and meaningful contributions an individual or organization has made in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making the world more prosperous, inclusive, sustainable, and resilient.
We welcome you to nominate a North Texas leader or organization you think deserves to be recognized. For your nominee to be considered for this recognition:
A completed call for nominations form (below) is required
Please note, nominees and nominators may be required to participate in an audio or video interview
Anyone is free to nominate a potential candidate; however, it is strongly recommended that nominations be made by peers or colleagues in order to maintain the integrity of the nominations.
Current UNA Board/ Council Members are not eligible for consideration.
One nomination per person.
Nominations close Monday, September 2nd.
CRITERIA: The nomination narrative should address significant contributions made by the nominee within the last five years, with an emphasis on work accomplished within the last twelve months of service. Nominations will be judged on the information provided by the nominator below.

NOMINATION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Individuals:
Resides in the North Texas region
15+ years in the profession (of stated SDG)
Organizations:
Operates in the North Texas region
In operation for a minimum of 10 years
Current UNA Dallas Board/ Council Members are ineligible for consideration.
NOMINATION DATES & TIMELINE
August 1st - Nominations open
September 2nd - Nominations close
September 3rd - 30th - Vetting and decision making
October 1st - Awardees announced
October 26th - Recognition at the UN Day Global Leadership Awards event
One nomination per person.
